Hamidreza Ghader joins ILPS

Hamidreza Ghader has joined the ILPS group on March 3, 2014 as a PhD student. Hamidreza works on statistical machine translation within the NWO Free Competition project CoBaLT (Constraint-Based Language Translation for Approximate Redundancy Resolution) under the supervision of Christof Monz. His work will focus on advanced reordering modelling by inducing global constraints. Before joining ILPS, Hamidreza did a BSc in Software Engineeering at the University of Tehran, Iran, and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the Iran University of Science and Technologies.

Praveen Dakwale joins ILPS

Praveen Dakwale has joined the ILPS group on March 3, 2014 as a PhD student. Praveen works on statistical machine translation within the NWO Vidi project SurReal (Surface Realization for Statistical Machine Translation) under the supervision of Christof Monz. His work will focus on translation model expansions for improved generation modelling. Before joining ILPS, Praveen did a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering at IET, Devi Ahilya University, India, and an MSc in Computational Linguistics at IIIT-Hyderabad, India.

Arianna Bisazza Joins ILPS

Arianna Bisazza has joined the ILPS group on September 23, 2013 as a post-doctoral researcher. Arianna works on statistical machine translation within the NWO Vidi project SurReal (Surface Realization for Statistical Machine Translation) under the supervision of Christof Monz. Her work will focus on advanced reordering modeling for fluency improvements in machine translation. Before joining ILPS, Arianna worked at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in Trento, Italy. Arianna received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Trento in 2013.
