For this workshop we invite both researchers and practitioners in the field to submit high-quality papers in the area of expertise retrieval. Authors are invited to submit research and position papers, and demo descriptions representing original, previously unpublished work to the workshop. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Submissions must be in English.
- Submitted papers should be in the ACM Conference style, see the ACM template page, using the “Option 2” style. This is also the style that will be required for the final papers.
- Submissions must not exceed
- 8 pages for research papers,
- 4 pages for position papers, and
- 2 pages for demo descriptions.
- All papers, independent of being a position or a research paper, must be able to generate discussion during the workshop, and consequently the PC will favor original and controversial ideas.
- All submissions will be reviewed by at least three members of the program committee. The review is double-blind; please anonymize your submission.
- All accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of the workshop. The proceedings will be printed and made available at the workshop.
- The exact time of the submission deadline is 23:59 GMT on May 23, 2008.
